We conduct a review of the official Driver’s License Abstract for appropriate driving record, obtain a Driver’s License copy and use a great group of regular drivers. Most Cars To Florida drivers have driven numerous times over many years and some are specifically requested by name by our Clients.

Completion of the Driver Form qualifies you for consideration into our secure Driver site.
Note: There have been important changes to US Customs procedures. If you have been driving someone’s vehicle to and from the USA (other than immediate family), you must now be a registered carrier capable of creating an electronic manifest for the border crossing into the USA. We are a registered carrier.
Entry into Canada has recently changed also. This type of delivery service requires the use of a licenced Customs Broker and certain documents for re-entry into Canada.
If you would like to refer the vehicle owner you’ve been driving for to us we can make sure you are their driver at the Client’s request.
Here’s the thing: Our clients put their trust in us. This means we require you to have a superior driving record, several pieces of identification including a valid/current passport and free of any criminal background or any other status which would lead to border crossing difficulties. We need to you to be an excellent communicator and friendly to our cherished group of clients.
It is important that you take excellent care of our client’s vehicle and maintain it in a good clean condition.
Although we may have cars at any time to many destinations all year, the majority of our clients have their cars taken from all over Canada and the US to Florida, Arizona and California in November, December and January and have them returned to Canadian and US destinations from February through May.
Our clients typically load the trunk with their personal effects so it is likely you will have use of the front two seats only. We provide all of the required documentation for the border crossing.

Driveaway bookings with less than three weeks’ notice from pickup date require a late booking fee of $250
March Break bookings from March 10-17 Ontario and February 28- March 10 Quebec there is an added fee of $250 due to elevated airfares.
There are necessary exceptions to these rates for some vehicles (e.g. large trucks) or remote pick up locations. Florida Panhandle customers – please contact us for customs rates. For other Clients, please reach out to us with your interest and we will secure a specific quote for your route. |

Our service is about making your life easier. Let us handle the long drive, the paperwork and the details.
Get on your flight and when you land – receive your car and simply drive away. Many of our Clients prefer to have their vehicle and driver waiting at their destination airport while others prefer delivery to an address. It’s up to you. Airport delivery may save you money for taxi, car services or the need to arrange friends or family pick up.
What About Insurance? — if you are new to Driveaway Services, you may not be aware that your vehicle insurance has the coverage required for another driver to operate your car with your permission. This the third-party liability part of your policy. We all have it. In the unlikely event of an insurance claim caused by your driver, we cover the deductible.
So, how does this work? Below is the basic flow for a new Client with Cars To Florida.
Note: There have been important changes to US Customs procedures. If someone is driving your automobile to Florida from Canada, they must be a registered carrier capable of creating and registering an electronic manifest for the border crossing into the USA. The process from the US into Canada has also changed and a customs broker is required to create the necessary documentation.

and is to be highly recommended. The company itself was very responsive and clear in its messaging and if you combine the company and the driver together the whole experience was excellent.

I said it when I first used the service and I feel the same now, that this is of tremendous value to anyone needing their car in Florida and not wanting to spend 3 days driving either way. When you get off the plane, your car is waiting for you, clean and filled up. Northbound, the driver will take you to the airport and bring the car to your home 3 days later. Most appeciated is the timeliness, consistency, courtesy and streamlined process perfected by Cars-to-Florida, all for a very reasonable price…
